Carole Whiting, Director of Carole Whiting Interiors + Design

Melbourne based Designer, Carole Whiting established her eponymous studio in 2016. In 2008, after a successful international career in advertising, Carole transitioned into interior design as Creative Director with an architectural practice.
Award winning projects, including Dulux Colour Awards, established her design reputation and earned her a place in the Inaugural Dulux Study Tour to London and Stockholm. The studio produces elegant, calm and timeless design with Carole heading up a team of four.

Mardi Doherty, Director of Doherty Design Studio

Mardi has more than 20 years’ experience in residential and commercial interior design. The award-winning Interior Design practice creates tailored residential, retail and commercial spaces throughout Australia. The studio was awarded Winner of the IDEAS (Interior Design Excellence Awards) 2018 Editors Award for consistently producing a high-quality body of work, with excellent design and attention to detail.

Matt Gibson, Director of Matt Gibson Architecture + Design

Matt Gibson brings wide and varied experience having worked within various architectural and interior design offices in Australia and the UK before setting up his practice in 2003. The practice’s growth has been based on promoting the principles of innovation and collaboration, whilst fusing the disciplines of Interior Design and Architecture.
The Studio has received local and international awards including the AIA Marion Mahoney Griffin Award for Interior Architecture and the Belle Coco Republic Interior Designer of the Year. Matt is involved in various industry committees and is strong advocate of local practice.

Rosa Coy, Director of Coy Yiontis Architects

Rosa has over 30 years’ experience working as an architect both overseas and in Australia. After five years working in Paris for leading international architects, she returned to Australia with George Yiontis in 1996 and established Coy Yiontis Architects - a practice with a focus on design excellence. She has spoken at events nationally about the work of the practice, acted as juror at the for the AIA Awards and has been a guest critic and assessor at Deakin and Melbourne Universities.

Simon Farrell-Green, Editor of HOME New Zealand

Simon Farrell-Green, is an obsessive follower of architecture and design. An award-winning journalist and writer, his career began at Metro followed by magazines in New Zealand and the UK, including Monocle and Esquire. “I’ve been excited to see more colour in New Zealand homes over recent years and Dulux has done a wonderful job championing that,” he says. “There’s been a real return to self-expression and playfulness so I’m looking forward to seeing the entries.”
